RegulixBooks is Futurixone's cloud accounting and e-invoicing software for UAE small and medium businesses and the accountants who look after them. It is built UAE-first: VAT, e-invoicing, AED, Arabic, post-dated cheques and the way local businesses actually trade are part of the design from day one.
Ready for UAE e-invoicing
The UAE is moving business-to-business and business-to-government invoicing onto a national e-invoicing system, phased in through 2027. RegulixBooks creates invoices in the national PINT AE format and sends them through an accredited service provider. It checks every invoice before it goes, and tracks each one until it is accepted.
How an e-invoice travels
The UAE system passes every invoice through accredited service providers, who report the tax data to the Federal Tax Authority.
- The seller
- Creates the invoice in its accounting software. RegulixBooks plays this part for its customers.
- The seller's service provider
- Checks the invoice, sends it to the buyer's service provider and reports the tax data.
- The buyer's service provider
- Receives and checks the invoice, reports its own tax data and returns a status.
- The buyer
- Receives the invoice in its accounting software. RegulixBooks plays this part too, creating a draft bill for review.
- Federal Tax Authority
- Receives the tax data from both service providers.

A normal day in RegulixBooks
The owner of a trading company opens the dashboard and sees cash in the bank, what customers owe and which products are close to expiry. A sales coordinator turns a purchase order into a sales order, the warehouse picks the oldest batch first, and the invoice goes out as a valid e-invoice.
At month end the accountant uploads the bank statement, reviews the suggested entries, approves them and closes the period. The external accountant signs in to the accountant portal and sees the same company, with the items that need attention already listed.
What the AI will not do
AI suggests and people decide.
- File a VAT return, corporate tax return or any other document with the authorities.
- Give tax or legal advice. It offers suggestions with reasons, for the business or its accountant to judge.
- Pay a supplier, change bank details or approve a payment.
- Edit or delete posted entries, or reopen a closed period.
- Send anything to a customer or supplier without a person choosing to send it.
